• CCRFD is ready for the next monthly board meeting, the first of the year, planned for MONDAY 01/19/2026.  On the MEETINGS tab, the Zoom information and the Agenda + Packet has been uploaded for your review before the meeting.

• Please note:  The resignation of appointed Trustee Kevin Zwicker effective 01/01/2026 was made public very shortly after.  With broken hearts we must update all that Kevin passed away on Saturday, Jan. 10th, 2026 after a very short but intense battle with cancer.  (An appointment for the remainder of the open trustee term is anticipated to be done early February with the BOCC.)

• Please note:  There is an Action Item for this next board meeting to appoint a new probationary Fire Chief as Jonathan Cunningham resigned the morning of Friday, Jan. 9th, 2026.

• Did you see the news story about CCRFD on KTVH?  The Starlink Mini Satellite System that was approved and installed on the CV/QRU caught the attention of the news station and they wanted others in the community to hear about it too.  (link)​
