• **SPECIAL MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT FOR FRIDAY 8/22/2025 AT 6:30PM**  -  At the conclusion of the AUG. REG. MTG. (held on MON. 8/18), the Trustees agreed to call a SPECIAL MEETING to revisit the open issues that presented as more of an urgent nature than waiting until next month's Regular Monthly Meeting.  The Agenda + Agenda Packet for this SPECIAL MTG. have been released (see Meetings tab for details)​

• Did you see the news story about CCRFD on KTVH?  The Starlink Mini Satellite System that we just approved and installed on the CV/QRU caught the attention of the news station and they wanted others in the community to hear about it too.  (link)​

• **SPECIAL MEETING HAS COMMENCED**  DATE:  Thurs. 7/24/2025  &  TIME:  2:00PM - 6:00PM        Dan Clark, Director of MSU Local Government Center, came to Canyon Creek's Fire Hall to hold the mandatory training for the CCRFD Board of Trustees as a result of the twelve (12) REDRESS Petitions (filed in Oct.2024) with eleven (11) found to have MERIT (determined in Jan.2025).  [Ref. MCA 7-1-206]

• On Thursday - July 3rd, 2025 the Lewis & Clark County Commissioners appointed Peggy Justesen and Kevin Zwicker to the board vacancies created in mid-May from the resignations of both Eskildsens.       Our new Trustees are appointed until the next regular election, which will be May 2026.

• At the JUNE monthly Regular Board Meeting on Monday 6/23/2025, the Board of Trustees unanimously voted to appoint  JONATHAN CUNNINGHAM  as the probationary Fire Chief of CCRFD based on the recommendation of existing Fire Company Volunteers.  WELCOME BACK CHIEF CUNNINGHAM!!             ​​
